BUILDSPACE Kick-off: Our Journey Towards Energy Efficiency and Climate Resilience Begins!
A consortium composed by 14 partners from 8 different countries have joined forces in a collaborative effort to lead the groundbreaking BUILDSPACE project, aiming to revolutionize the development of Energy Efficient Buildings and Climate Resilient Cities. The project will use the terrestrial data of buildings collected by different platforms (IoT, BIM, etc.) and couple it with aerial drones equipped with thermal cameras and location data from satellite services (EGNSS, Copernicus) to develop practical services that respond to the needs urban stakeholders to improve buildings resilience to climate change. It will do so through the engagement of interdisciplinary and diverse stakeholders.
The project's kick-off meeting, held on February 6 and 7, 2023, at SPACE HELLAS headquarters in Athens, Greece, set the stage for an exciting journey ahead.
During the kick-off meeting, the project partners gathered to lay the groundwork for the upcoming months. The meeting provided an invaluable opportunity for all stakeholders to align their objectives, define project milestones, and allocate resources efficiently. The synergy of expertise and diverse perspectives among the project partners promises to drive the success of BUILDSPACE.
